MIDDLETOWN, CT. - The Wesleyan men's track and field team played host to an exciting J. Elmer Swanson Spring Classic, opening the outdoor portion of the season with a dominate performance in the 3000m as they swept the Top 10 finishes along with
Liam Calhoun's '26 first-place ticket in the 1500m at the Andersen Track.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Calhoun struck gold in the 1500m, crossing the finish line with a top time of 3:57.82 while leading Alex Kermath '26 in second place (4:01.76) and Bruce Lenes '26 in fifth (4:05.77).
- The Cardinals fielded all Top 10 finishes in the 3000m, the pack led by Dylan Cote '28 with a first-place time of 8:31.31. Knox Wallask '29 placed second (8:42.42), Zach Allen '27 was third (8:42.80), Will Wise '26 finished fourth (8:43.32), Calder Burke '27 was fifth (8:52.43), Ben McKinney '27 sixth (8:55.94), Dan Irish '29 seventh (8:59.25), Easy Weissman '28 cleared eighth (9:02.86), Tate Celebi '29 finished ninth (9:03.05), and Boomer Weisman '29 was 10th (9:09.07).
- August Doetsch '29 placed third in the 800m, finishing with a time of 1:57.94.
- Reese Connors '29 placed fifth in the 400m with a 50.09.
- Leading the Cardinals in the 400m hurdles was Jack Park '29, placing fourth at 57.21.
- In the field, Jonah Levine-Fried '29 placed fourth in the triple jump, clearing 12.44m.
- The 4x400m relay team of Neil Bulchandani '28, Logan Vargas '29, Doug Clement '29, and Dylan Wang '29 finished fourth with a combined time of 3:29.84.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, March 27, when they take on the Ramapo College Invitational.
