WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wesleyan men's golf team took part in the Williams Fall Invitational over the weekend. The 54-hole tournament across Saturday and Sunday saw the Cardinals finish in 17
th place in the team standings, totaling 958 strokes (319-308-331).
Wilson Ouimet '30 led the Cardinals with a 78-76-79-233 (+20) for the weekend, finishing in a tie for 46
th place. Ouimet recorded three birdies in round 1 and finished with three more across the final two rounds for six birdies on the weekend.
Johnathan Harlukowicz '27 was next to finish for Wesleyan, recording an 83-75-82-240 (+27). His second round 75 was the low round of the weekend for the Cardinals while he finished with a team-leading seven birdies across the tournament.
Michael Jones '30 went for a 79-78-84-241 (+28) while
Gavin Sendar '28 (81-79-86-246) and
Lev Abramson '28 (81-79-87-247) rounded out the lineup for the Cardinals.
Wesleyan is back in action at the Bowdoin Invitational next weekend at the Brunswick Golf Club.
