WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wesleyan men's golf team competed in the Williams Fall Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club over the weekend.
Jacob Fain '23 led the Cardinals, shooting +15 (78-79-157) for the weekend, the lone golfer on the team to shoot sub-80 in both rounds. He finished in a tie for 51
st overall on the player leaderboard.
Ambrose Koo '23 shaved six strokes off his first round 84, firing a second round 78 to finish with a +20 (84-78-162) for the tournament.
Owen Cannizzo '24 was consistent, shooting 82-83-165 (+23) to finish third-best on the team.
Daniel Kraft '23 managed to shoot the lowest single round of any Cardinal, posting a first round 77 on Saturday before finishing +24 (77-89-166) for the tournament. Rounding out the lineup for Wesleyan was
Fisher Hirsch '26 (85-84-169) who finished at +27.
Wesleyan rounds out their fall competition with the Bowdoin Invitational next weekend.
