BOSTON, Mass. – The Wesleyan men's track & field team managed a 21
st place finish out of 41 teams at the 2023 New England Championships hosted at the TRACK at new balance.
Nate Fogarty '25 impressed with a fourth place finish out of 25 runners in the 1000m, as he crossed the line in 2:29.79.
Rob D'Aquila '26 took 15
th place in the same event with a time of 2:35.36.
Javier Orellana '25 threw over 14 meters for the first time in his career, using a mark of 14.18m to place 10
th in the shot put.
Liam Calhoun '26 was the fastest freshman in the one mile, earning a Top 10 result with his time of 4:14.52 that earned him eighth place overall. Fellow classmate
Alex Kermath '26 grabbed 17
th place, crossing the line in 4:19.28.

Bruce Lenes '26 landed a Top 10 finish, placing 10
th at 10:29.08. The Cardinals' 4x800m relay team of Consolati,
Ben Taffet '26,
Alex Geula '25, and Lenes placed 11
th overall out of 19 teams with a time of 8:07.41.
The Cardinals travel to Tufts next Saturday for the National Qualifying Meet at 11 AM.
