AMHERST, Mass. – The Wesleyan men's track and field team participated in the Amherst Spring Fling on Saturday.
Kyle Roshankish '24 and
Jonah Rosenthal '25 each placed ninth in their respective sprint event. Roshankish clocked in at 22.75 seconds in the 200m while Rosenthal posted a personal-best time of 51.76 seconds in the 400m.
Nate Fogarty '25 led an expansive list of Cardinals in the 800m, with the sophomore placing eighth overall out of 28 with a PR time of 1:56.40.
Liam Calhoun '26 impressed in the 1500m, clocking in at 3:59.75 to take sixth place out of 60 competitors.
James Giokaris '24 was the runner-up in the javelin, throwing a PR of 46.0m.
Rami Hayes-Messinger '26 was third in the same event, throwing a PR of 45.90m.
Anish Visht '24 cleared 3.70m in the pole vault, good enough for sixth place in the event. Hayes-Messinger was eighth-best in the shot put at 12.12m.
Will Dollhopf '25 grabbed seventh place in the discus with a mark of 36.45m.
Wesleyan continues their season next weekend with a two-day meet hosted by Conn. College from April 14-15.
