MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Wesleyan men's swimming & diving team closed out the 2025 NESCAC Championships with the final five events on Sunday. The Cardinals finished the NESCAC Championships in 10
th place with 356 team points.
One more school record time was broken on Sunday, upping the team's total to six new school records over the NESCAC Championships, as
Brody Schrepfer '28 took part in a 100 breast time trial and broke his own school record (set on Saturday) with a time of 55.24 seconds that was an NCAA 'B' qualifying standard.
The day opened with the 1650 free where
Hartmut Doerwaldt '25 took 22
nd place overall with a time of 16:44.16.
The 100 free saw
Harrison Hong '25 qualify for the consolation final with a time of 45.99 seconds in preliminaries. Hong then went on to finish in 15
th place overall with a time of 46.73 seconds in the night session.
Nathan Wu '28 qualified for the preconsolation final of the 200 breast, posting a time of 2:06.03 in qualifying, before touching the wall in 2:05.24 in the C final to claim 21
st place overall in the event.
The final event of the weekend was the 400 free relay where the Wesleyan A team of Hong, Schrepfer, Wu, and
David Kantar '25 posted a time of 3:06.37 to finish in 10
th place.
