MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan women's swimming & diving team posted numerous personal-bests, broke four school records, and totaled 596 team points to finish in eighth place, the Cardinals' best finish at the NESCAC Championship since 2020. In addition, Wesleyan took home the NESCAC Swimming Co-Coaching Staffs of the Year honor.

Kim Georgiades, Joey Zellner, and Robert Michaud Adams, were recognized as the NESCAC Swimming Co-Coaching Staff of the Year, splitting the honor with Williams. Williamson earns the honor in just her third season with the Cardinals.
Wesleyan opened the meet on Thursday night with a sixth place finish in the 800 free relay, as the team of
James LaCroix '27,
Mia Dezelic '27,
Charlotte Fishman '29, and
Zoe Kuhn '26 combined for a time of 7:37.07, which was more than 20 seconds faster than the seed time.
Friday's finals night featured the 200 free relay and the first school record on the weekend as Kuhn, Fishman,
Anne Conway '26, and LaCroix combined for a time of 1:35.61 to take seventh place. Another school record was broken earlier in the day on Friday when
Sara Bohacek '26 touched the wall in 29.46 seconds in the 50 breast, breaking a record that had stood since 2019. In the 50 breast finals, Bohacek clocked in at 29.47 seconds in the Championship Final to take seventh place.
A third school record was broken on Friday when Conway touched the wall in 25.50 seconds in the 50 fly prelims, breaking a record that had stood since 2019. Conway later tied for 12
th in the Consolation Final with a time of 25.62 seconds.
The busy night of Friday finals continued in the 50 back where
Jacqueline Constantine '28 and Dezelic both qualified for the Consolation Final. Constantine clocked in at 26.55 seconds to take 11
th place while Dezelic posted a 13
th place finish with a time of 26.70 seconds.
Wesleyan posted more points in the 50 free with LaCroix taking 12
th place at 23.90 and Kuhn finishing in 15
th place at 24.15. Then in the 1-meter dive,
Ella Hall '28 qualified for the Championship Final with a prelim score of 376.65, edging out Arya Gupta of Tufts by just 0.10 points. Hall went on to score 363.55 to take eighth place in the finals, becoming the first Cardinal diver to place Top 8 since 2019.
The Cardinals closed out Friday night with a sixth place finish in the 400 medley relay as Dezelic, Bohacek, Conway, and LaCroix finished in 3:49.88.
Saturday's night of finals saw Wesleyan finish in fifth place in the 200 medley, clocking in at 1:43.56 for an NCAA B cut time featuring the team of Dezelic, Bohacek, Conway, and Kuhn. LaCroix and Fishman picked up points in the 200 free, with LaCroix placing 14
th (1:54.64) and Fishman taking 17
th place (1:54.72).
Bohacek continued to shine for the Cardinals, making an appearance in her second Championship Final of the weekend, taking sixth place with a time of 1:04.86 in the 100 breast Finals after qualifying with a time of 1:04.71 earlier in the day.
Three Cardinals picked up points in the 100 back as Dezelic placed 12
th (57.25),
Keira Walsh '28 finished in 20
th (58.93), and Constantine posted a 24
th place finish (59.35).
The final day of the competition started with
Meghan Jo '29 landing a 10
th place finish in the 1650 free with a time of 17:45.84.
Elena Baird '26 followed with an 18
th place finish, touching the wall in 18:02.61.
Dezelic added more points in the 200 back, finishing in 10
th place as she touched in 2:05.19, while Bohacek continued to dominate, taking 11
th place in the 200 breast with a time of 2:23.69.
In the final competition of the weekend, Wesleyan's 400 free relay team of Dezelic, LaCroix, Conway, and Kuhn clocked in at 3:29.67 to finish in sixth place.
Bohacek landed a fourth school record time of the weekend, breaking a record that had stood sine 2016, as she clocked in at 59.46 in the 100 IM in a time trial.
