Flo is a Connecticut native. She majored in American Studies, was a member of Eclectic, led BILEGA (Bisexual, Lesbian, and Gay) workshops, and played club rugby and intramural basketball. The following year she was named to the New England WISA (NEWISA) All-Star Team, and her achievements continued to mount up. Among her still-standing records are most goals in a career (49), season (16), and game (4, tied with two others) added to most points in a career (115) and season (37). The 1994 Cardinal women’s Hall of Fame soccer team, led by Coach Jeff Vagell, was 12-4-1 on the season, ending with a 5-0-1 final stretch and qualifying for the ECAC New England Division III Championships. Flo was high-scorer for the season and earned First Team All-New England honors. The Cardinals won the first two rounds at the ECAC, and in the final against Bates, Flo converted a penalty kick in overtime for a win and the title. Flo had garnered 4 goals and 1 assist over the three championship games, figuring in 5 of the total 6 Wes scores. She was named MVP of the Championships and won All-Star accolades from NEWISA and NSCAA/Umbro.
